Hotel TimBamboo was founded by the Hendricks family over fifteen years ago.  The word “Timbamboo” is of maroon origin and was affectionately used as a salutation between Mr. Leon Hendricks and his grandfather Mr. George Ming.  As a tribute to his grandfather, Mr. Hendricks was very proud to name the hotel in his honour.

It was the vision of the Hendricks Family to witness and be a part of the transformation and development of the “best kept secret” PORT ANTONIO.  By providing moderately priced and superb accommodations, Hotel Timbamboo would be their contribution to the  revitalization of tourism to a place which was undoubtedly more than worth visiting.
